Hey everyone! I know it has been a long time since I posted. This semester at school has been really tough. Between working, going to class four days a week, and keeping up with the house, free time to do things like experiment in the kitchen and blog is a rare. Goodness me. I will be glad for May 2nd, the last day of finals for the spring semester. Another thing that has been keeping me from writing is that our camera broke over Christmas break. It was a sad day for sure! Therefore, I currently have no way to take pictures of what I have been making recently. Soon, we will get another one though, and I will be back to taking all kinds of pictures of the food that comes out of the Fuller kitchen :).

Now to the important stuff. I have wonderful news. My twin sister got married! I had the privilege of going down to Mexico with my Dad and Mom to be there for her wedding. She is now married to Pepe Ceballos who is from Mexico. They plan to stay in Mexico and continue working as missionaries. I am so happy and excited for both of them.

This was taken moments before the wedding ceremony. She looked radiant!

Me, Nicole, and Mom.

Pepe and Nicole.

I also had the incredible honor of making Nicole's wedding cake. It was a little nerve-wracking to take a bunch of cake ingredients and tools down in my suitcase to Mexico. My parents also had suitcases full of food for making American desserts for the rehearsal dinner. Everything made it through safe and sound, and all the desserts turned out beautifully! For the cake, the top two tiers were vanilla and the bottom tier was a chocolate and vanilla marble. It was filled with raspberry preserves and frosted with buttercream icing.

Also, I was looking through my pictures and found some of other cakes I have done that I wanted to show you guys.

Interactive Angry Birds Cake for my brother's birthday party.

Birthday cake for a friend. It was a chocolate cake with espresso buttercream filling and chocolate buttercream icing.

Cupcakes I made for a baby shower. They are red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing.

All these cakes make me want to eat something sweet. I think I will go make some oatmeal cookies... yum... :)
